deadstock

All of our pieces are knitted using deadstock and factory surplus yarns. Deadstock is a term for yarn that is no longer needed by the fashion and textile industries and will otherwise be disposed of. Factory surplus is usually the consequence of a producer or manufacturer overestimating their needs, thus creating an excess stock of yarn.

Using deadstock yarn to knit our fully fashioned items allows us to work sustainably and create a beautiful product from waste.

As we work with these types of waste yarns, there will always be a limited number of pieces available in each colour way and yarn composition. Our colour way offering will often change depending on our yarn stock flow.
